Sewing on a button with the sewing machine

We have already shown you how to sew on a button by hand - but how do you do it with a sewing machine? Uwe shows us how to attach a button to clothing with or without a button sewing programme. Take a look for yourself and then get to work - because a torn button should not be a reason to stop wearing your favourite garment ;) Repairing is the order of the day - it's sustainable and easy on the wallet. And what about new, unusual buttons? This adds variety to your wardrobe and can be a great eye-catcher!

For buttonholes, we recommend a tear-resistant universal sewing thread like Seralon or the sustainable Seracycle; but in the classic way, we also like to use a slightly thicker thread like Seralon 30 or Extra Strong.

Have fun!
