h+h Cologne 2026

Mettler booth impresses at h+h Cologne 2026 with strong product innovations and international visitor interest

From 19–22 March 2026, Mettler once again presented itself at this year’s h+h Cologne as an innovative and eye-catching partner of the handicraft industry. Despite a currently challenging market situation in the sewing segment – alongside growing demand in the wool sector – the booth attracted numerous visitors from around the world and impressed with new products.

The focus of the product presentations was the expansion of the Denim Doc color range with four new denim shades. In addition, the new DE4Washed kit was introduced, bundling the new colors in one set. Also, highly relevant for retail is the newly developed sales cabinet, which now accommodates all 14 available colors and is ideally suited for countertop presentation.

Another highlight was the relaunch of the well-established ASPO product. Alongside a modern, colorful design, the existing product range was expanded to include the new serger thread ASPOLOCK. As part of the relaunch, a new website was launched, two additional thread sets were developed, and a revised logo as well as new marketing materials were created to further strengthen the brand’s presence (ASPO is AMANN’s secondary consumer brand, clearly positioned in the beginner/ budget-friendly segment).

The booth also created an emotional impact: the trailer for the film “Sew Torn” offered visitors a unique insight, showcasing Mettler threads in a central and visually striking movie role. This creative presentation generated strong attention and engagement at the booth.

The high visitor frequency and the large number of international customer meetings stress the success of the trade show. Mettler would like to sincerely thank all partners and visitors for the valuable exchange, the strong interest in the new products, and the successful time spent together at h+h Cologne 2026.
